Last night we had our first Creative Team meeting at JCC. The Creative Team is basically a group of people who’s core purpose is to support and emphasize the message/point of any given service or event. It’s a brave new venture for our humble little church. We had so much fun, between swallows of the $5 hot-n-ready pizza. Anyways, keep us in your prayers as we feel our forward in this adventure:)

He Loves Me
I’m almost finished with the audio version of “He Loves Me!,” by Wayne Jacobsen, and I am refreshed. After living most of my life trying to please God by DOING, I have been so satisfied to discover that I please Him by just BEING. And why would I be satisfied? I mean, how could I be satisfied by a cyber-cop waiting to judge me for not measuring up to His standards? Good question! If that’s what God is then I can’t be satisfied by Him, I would only be motivated by keeping Him happy with my measly attempts at righteousness. What if he loves me SO much that He decided to make me righteous on the inside so that I would live out of my relationship with Him as He makes me like Him on the outside? Hmmm. It’s right there in the Word, but I would much rather take control of my salvation than let Him take control of my life. Anyways, hope you like the book:)
